KEEP A CHECK

Being conscious of what you eat sounds like an easy task. But more often than not, we tend to eat without being aware of how much we have eaten. Avoid snacking in front of the TV. Research says that people can put on weight 71 per cent faster if they eat in front of the TV. This is because you tend to keep on eating until the show ends, regardless of wheather you are full. Stock up on low- calorie snacks if you can’t resist eating in front of the telly. Avoid bringing an entire packet of chips to the couch; put some in a bowl you can’t eat too much. Also maintain a food diary. When you write down what you are eating, you become more aware of your food choices and it helps to keep a check on your diet plan.
