NUTRITIONAL RISK

Factors for tuberculosis: under-nutrition or protein-energy malnutrition can affect your immune system adversely. The controversy here is whether malnutrition causes TB or whether it occurs as a consequence of TB. Malnutrition, HIV and tuberculosis are all three factors, which promote one another. Lack of micronutrients such as vitamins D, A, C zinc and iron can lower your immunity. Studies propose that dietary deficiency of these micronutrients is determinants of tuberculosis resistance. So we should not indulge in nutritional risk it may lead to death also. So eat healthy and live safely for a long period of time.
